Chalet collection was inspired by the Swiss mountains après-ski life. Bold graphic elements were a nod to the retro look of ski suits, going down slops and tracks left behind by skis.

Continue to convey the sense of snowy mountains and bold graphic elements; slanted logos and zippers were popped white.

Luggage Designer
Initially hired as a Bag Design Assistant when the Away Travel a direct to consumer start-up was in their Beta funding stage, I was able to work on all aspects of the product design process. My previous Industrial Design education gave me a quick understanding of how luggage and hard components come together, it quickly landed me as the Luggage Designer at Away.

For wallet exploration, I went directly into cutting shapes from pattern paper, a direct play with intersecting convex shapes how all pieces would overlap and come together.

Bag design became an interest when I need a versatile bag to travel abroad with. I was looking for a practical and stylish solution. It interested me greatly in how we utilize, interact, and store our everyday gear, which has proven to be an
exciting quest. I was enrolled at F.I.T. under their continuing education classes, and has been making bags out of the Brooklyn Shoe Space.

First proposed box for Guitar Triller. Since it was a hand held tool, the Triller should be exposed to the touch on shelves. After much research on tool packaging in hardwares, craft stores, I wanted a raw look, since it reminded me much of a hand-carved tool.

A sleek and modern design was what Alex & Jeremy was after. They wanted the item to be new and edgy. I incorporated a paper vertical bellyband to go around a soft plastic mold to hold the triller inside, while exposing the look of the item.

The resolution was having product on the left side, standing upright against paper box on the right side. Acetate box was carefully calculated so the 'hammer' of the tool would line up with the vibrating image of sound on the side of box. The tool also rattles slightly inside box, to give a hit its usage.

Alex & Jeremy wanted the triller to be visible to consumers right away.

It was also necessary to introduce the various fun ways trillers can be used on the guitar.
Guitar Triller
Guitar Triller was a concept developed by two guitar players, Alex and Jeremy, who wanted to create a variety of unique, different sounds on their guitar using one tool. Kickstarter helped launched their product into mass production, and when it came time to ship Guitar Trillers to long awaited backers, they needed a packaging well suited to introduce this new item into the market.
